How It Works: Consign / Sell
1. Create an account and fill out the ‘Consignment Quote Form’ on our website or app under SELL/CONSIGN
2. Please allow 1-2 business days to receive a quote. The consignment quote means we will list your item at the quoted price and once sold, we will pay you your portion of the sale less our commission, please see our current consignment rates below. The buyout quote means if you do not want to wait for the item to sell, you can choose the lower payout for instant funds after your item has been processed.
Quotes are listed either in Canadian Dollar, or US Dollar depending on your location, and valid for 30 days only. Quotes are subject to change after the 30-day post-quotation period.
3. If you accept our consignment or buyout quote, you can action this under "MY LUXE" and print out the quote and attach the corresponding quote to each item and circle consignment or buyout option (if applicable). If your consignment form and quote are not with your bag, we cannot process your item. You can drop off or ship your item in to one of our 2 head offices:

The consignor accepts all risk when shipping their items to the Luxe Du Jour Office. Luxe Du Jour is not liable for any damages or loss incurred during shipment. If you have chosen the consignment option the buyout quote will no longer be valid and can be reduced if you request buyout after.
4. Once we have received your item(s) we will inspect for authenticity, condition and inclusions as stated. We reserve the right to adjust the quoted price if description, condition or inclusions was not stated correctly. Please allow 3-5 business days for your item to be processed. All buyouts will be processed within this time frame and if your time is on consignment and sells then your payout will be the following Friday which is payday for all our consignors. Payout methods include E-transfer, Zelle, PayPal, ACH, or Stripe. Please remember to request your payout under the 'My Earnings' for both buyout and consignment items.
5. Your item is required to stay with us for a minimum of 90 days to sell. After the 90 days if you want your item back you will need to pay for the shipping costs or pick it up at our location. You can also leave it with us until sold by telling us to flash sale the item at a new price. If you want to withdraw your item early before the 90 days you will be subject to an early withdrawal fee of $250.

IMPORTANT NOTICE
By submitting this form, you agree that if any of your items are deemed non-authentic there is a $450.00 fee per counterfeit item in order for you to receive the item back, this covers our processing, authentication time and shipping costs.
All watches require original receipt or authenticity card. Any Rolex watches must be full set with the warranty card. Any newer bags with a microchip or new sticker for serial numbers require the original receipt. The serial number/date code must be in tact and legible otherwise the item will be returned as we are unable to authenticate your item without a legible and in tact serial number. Any Van Cleef & Arpels or Cartier jewellery require the original certificate of authenticity.
The consignor sends in / drops off items at their own risk. Luxe Du Jour is not responsible for any loss, destruction of, or damage to consigned items while the item is at a Luxe Du Jour office location.
